That's right folks, its the annual USTA (United States Tennis Association) summer tournament at Whitman. The Subway State Games of WA is hosted by Coach Jeff at Whitman and has skill divisions for novice (first tournament) players, challenger (getting into match play but haven't won lots of matches or a tournament at the level) or Champs (more experienced tournament players playing for ranking points). Age groups are 10-18 and this is a sanctioned tournament, so the entrant must be a USTA member (a GREAT thing to have).

Summer tennis rolls on at Whitman!

After a wonderful first session of tennis, we've got session 2 with Whitman coaches John Hein and Emily Rolston up and coming. Sign up at: www.wwpr.us or use the Quick Registration Link: REGISTER NOW!
We've got tennis for everyone aged 4-17! Email me at womenstennis@whitman.edu to find out more. Also, if your child can only make one week of the two, don't hesitate to talk to me about your situation as we can often find a way to get them some tennis.

Hi all,
It's that time of year again, school is out and the courts are heating up for some fun tennis this summer. At Whitman, Whitman Women's Coaches John and Emily (yes, Emily has graduated and is now working as the Assistant Women's Coach for the Missionaries!), will offer classes starting THIS MONDAY through the city of Walla Walla Parks and Rec.
